First learning came up before I left on my trip. Sent a friend a picture of my new frame bag for the hydration system and he suggested I get a small funnel or fitting to fill at the line break instead of having to unzip and get at screw top of the bladder. Brilliant! 

Luckily was able to find a perfectly sized silicone funnel that slid right on to a sacrificed hose connector. 

Filling from the top allowed me to take on more water than I would have otherwise. 

Will keep my eye out for an adapter to plug into my squeeze water filter directly but this works great in the meantime.
