i have always downloaded my entire spotify library on both my iphone and mac

every time I like a song, it gets downloaded; started doing this back in college when unlimited data plans weren't the norm

now worth the storage expense since it allows me to play music i like for focused work in the most remote spots / airplanes

That’s a solid strategy! Having your favorite music available offline, especially in remote places or on flights, is definitely worth the storage.
