The worst part of an injury isn't the future workouts you miss, but rather the momentum and progress you lose. (Currently nursing an injured wrist from boxing 🥲)

yes, especially if you are on a good streak. However, you can still make progress and enjoy other workouts without straining the injured parts. Often you can also focus on stretches / mobility for recovery which are good exercises to continuously do as warm up even if you recovered.
