If I could nudge one thing with the meta, change the recast requirement to a follow requirement. - More durable potential ongoing relationship vs. 1-time - People will likely give you a chance b/c they can unfollow - Would likely increase the participation since it doesn't spam their feed.

this was the old “like us on Facebook” gate I mentioned in the other thread with @antonio It worked well for promotional content (giveaways, sweepstakes, contests) and building an audience. People love “follower-only” content.

Ah yes, the 'Like' campaigns. For those wondering at this odd mania, recall that there were no Newsfeed ads at the time: the only way you could get commercial content into a person's feed was basically getting them to like your page and then spamming them with 'organic' content.

When FB shipped NF ads, it then turned off organic Feed distribution for Pages content, meaning all those Likes were then worthless, and you had to pay to get Feed inventory. As one does.
