anybody else using descript to edit videos?

AFAIK there's a simple way to separate video from audio? But yeah it's a very specific use case, happens to work for me (and for a lot other content creators who mainly vlog)

Loom for example has AI transcripts too, but not much else

Yess, mostly dialogue heavy videos to cut the script and add captions. 

I don’t like it that much for anything else, also, removing audio without cutting away the video seems impossible. What are you running into/love about it?

the browser based version is new, but the cool thing about descript are

- transcript-based editing (cut off a sentence, cut off that part of vid)
- very comprehensive set of basic graphics (text, images, effects)

I have been for a little while now. Still have some to learn. Really use it for the filler words and silence removal / cutting.
