first cold plunge today in one of these 

- it's not just cold, it's physically painful
- ran in place for 5 mins beforehand to raise body temp + build up courage
- asked my wife to stay with me, she did not, could've died wtf
- managed 1 minute @ 10c
- water wasn't high enough, fml
- felt good later

I'd be tempted to get one but not sure how practical it would be to have in my patio.

I'd probably have to get some sort of security belt with a lock to prevent kids from opening it.

The PRO Ice Barrel has buckles you could potentially lock somehow - but what are they gonna do, jump in?

My 3yo would definitely try although she probably wouldn't even be able to open it by herself so most likely nothing to worry about.
