hot take: anon people with “hot takes” are the most beta of beta energy. sharing a strong POV takes a lot more courage when there is reputational, social, and financial capital on the line — and rarely is that ever the case when one is anon.

btw you're actually doing the very thing you're criticising: you're judging anons based on their (lack of) identity as "beta", whatever that means if the goal is merits discussion, the identity of the of the participants does not matter, and neither does their perceived alpha energy

you’re right. to be clear: it isn’t the lack of identity that i’m criticizing, it’s the decision to share a “hot take” that they would only share anonymously. for context, it was a reaction to this post. there’s a lot of value in roon, edward snowden, etc.
