A dangerous trend I noticed on other Intelligentsia circles like Farcaster: "People who are smart and ambitious but don't achieve much tend to become bitter" Cynicism is cheap. Let's keep FC optimistic as we go permissionless!

This is by no means restricted to FC Smarts and ambition are more common than we think; what is in short supply is perseverance and follow-through. Smart people are observant: they know how the world works and are thus better at coming up with their variations of "the game is rigged" and "it's not worth it anyway"

As you said, cynicism is cheap The world is littered with promising, yet thin-skinned people who gave up too easily But there are also people who genuinely tried and got beat. Some lives are harder than others. Their cynicism is not excused but can be understood
