sorry to be the barrier of bad news to all you traditional design rule lovers, but it is absolutely FAKE NEWS that you β€œmust” only use two fonts when designing. i believe in the power of multiple fonts. that is.. if you can make it work 🀭

I actually use only one if I can swing it :P It all depends of course, but the biggest variable imho is whether one (or both) fonts are part of a good family, so they have enough weights and axes and stuff which in the end it means you practically have more than 2

But I'm talking about web, product and print design here Packaging and consumer like Bratz (and /humankind) do live by different rules

aww one of my fav professors only used one !! he was a strict minimalist & worked really well for his work and yes, something i noticed in a lot of package design (in the beauty world) uses multiple different fonts. but crest & apple only use 1 font for everything
