lol when I did door-to-door sales we had daily morning seminar and one of the trainers made us repeat the mantra:

"EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT"

there are worse mindsets

I did door-to-door sales as well AND 
sold credit cards in grocery store ailes. 

Social anxiety was never lower.

yeah there was a high burnout rate as you can imagine

high agency energy

(but high misery too)

so called "phoenix companies" 

hard going, but i learned a lot from it, i don't regret it at all

That seems deeply unhealthy for your mental health.

My first job out of undergrad was door-to-door sales for ads in the phone book... in 2010.

I quit on my 90 day review.

A year later, the company that had been in business for 40ish years, didn't exist.
