Just started recently, everyone telling me season 2 gets better but right now it just feels dull

wow psychohistory, feel the future (?), space animals, Lee Pace so sexy, eighty-six million prime numbers, pew pew, robot sex, robot sad about being emotional (?), quantum computer superposition, hand waving, projections, my daughter is older than me 

...and everyone lived happily ever after in the Vault

Is it really that bad? The books were quite okay. But I got used to the fact that all shows rn SUCK so bad I can’t even watch anything any more. Where are all the talented writers? 🥲🥲🥲

Suspension of disbelief is a tough sell when you just keep making stuff up

I enjoyed season 1 more than season 2, but I wouldn’t say it’s the most stupid show. It’s got some serious merits, even if it’s cheesy at times (but what sci-fi isn’t?). Hard to nail the scale of such wacky ideas. The drama is “galactic”, spanning centuries (genetic dynasty?). I dig it.

Totally agree. Books were great. Books were about individuals not actually making a difference in the course of history. Series is about 5 people forming the history of the Galaxy. Book was about science, series is about metaphysics.

Every other month or so, I think about starting it and and rewatch the trailer. And every time, it's nope.
