Never seen a show more stupid than Foundation

Totally agree. Books were great. Books were about individuals not actually making a difference in the course of history. Series is about 5 people forming the history of the Galaxy. Book was about science, series is about metaphysics.

When I was reading the books, the whole twist was to see how each character played a role that was already predefined by psychohistory, even if the acted on their own will. Like gas molecules that move random, but if you have enough of them the gas mass behaves very predictably.
