Sharing more about this 𧡠whereas in /memes users subscribe to participate in the tipping pool, here in /design you will subscribe (to the /hypersub, TBD) to participate in design contests and a chance at winning prizes but contests are high-effort, so I've been thinking about simpler ways you can contribute

so here's a few simpler ways you'll be able to participate - share & request design resources (books, fonts etc) - give & get qualified design advice - ask questions in the AMAs we'll host - be invited (and paid) to host a workshop all of this in the context of a cleaner, curated, (almost) spam-free channel

however, while design contests may be high-effort to participate in (which does not have to be the case, as submissions can be scoped down), they're also simpler to manage: once or twice a month, for instance so these smaller, curated incentives will be introduced over time as the experiment progress & the team grows

Iβd love to hop in for office hours programming or something like live design jams. I love this vision for the channel. This isnβt just better moderation, itβs design leadership on display. ππ»
