What KPIs would you want to see from your investors 1/ prior to accepting capital, 2/ during the relationship? (assuming you had full transparency) 

Examples: 
- historical DPI, TVPI, IRR
- avg & median response times
- size & composition of network 
- # reposts/social engagements 
- average intro’s per portco 
etc.

What KPIs do you use to measure your day-to-day / month-to-month performance as a VC? Return metrics don’t really become meaningful before 5-8 years.

It's hard and imo it's a fundamental flaw in the model.

This is a hard one bc long term stuff is all that matters

I think better to measure things that help inform where to adjust vs measure them in pursuit of an absolute goal 

Ultimately the job is about aligning day to day actions with a flywheel of dealflow & outcomes and remaining competitive through market changes

Missed deals, what rounds happened that you didn’t see

If i had to guess…

- Pipeline (growth, velocity)
- Meetings
- LP happiness
