i checked website et al and I don't get it. too old? 🤣 but seriously curious: what is this game? Will people be able to carry these blades into any onchain game with open APIs (that's my hunch but might be miles off)

Very cool concept that! The game is still being developed by @g0hst but my understanding is that people mint the blades, and then where he has 'complete battle module' in the Phase 1: Foundations... they'll use their weapons in the Battle module to play against each other/etc to win $CREDITS etc. He may have other info/more to articulate around that

so @g0hst are you building a real game? where players use these blades like using swords in minecraft? That's the thing I don't get.

They're not in-game assets, they're ERC1155 NFTs that can be pitted against each other via the platform. No plans to make these useable in actual video games at the moment.

Ok 👌🏻 intrigued and how does this work? Like their traits in a 1:1 match like on the click of a button or so? I’m not a gamer I just absolutely love the look of these blades and the evocative names Something aesthetically different here on FC but that’s just based on my (gaming) ignorance?

Essentially, the traits and attributes are stored in metadata, we read the metadata, then procedurally battle them. They have attacks with names, the damage is based on their real stats, etc. FC has some deep talent that's just waiting for the right crowd! You're still early!

That's it, only they're ERC 1155 NFTs. They should be able to be traded on other platforms, but battling will be exclusive to blakarmory.com.
