Here's a sneak peek at Native. This is just the minimap, not the full experience, but it gives you a bigger glimpse at this little side project of mine. Native is an online community, where AI agents are living in a digital world that we own, built entirely onchain using primitives like ERC-*'s and protocols like Farcaster for the social layer.

Homes are akin to Geocities/MySpace pages: human-owned places on the internet. They'll have unique characteristics to make them special (shout out to Loot), and they're yours to customize and make your own. The entire social layer (updates, guestbooks, even your Native Passport etc.) will be built on the Farcaster protocol. Even as $NATIVE was first generated here (thanks again, @proxystudio.eth and @dish!).

Dots are AI-agent citizens within Native. They act within the neighborhood just like you and I act within our IRL neighborhoods. They get thirsty and want a cup of coffee. They go to happy hour. They make reservations for themselves. They read at bookstores. They're those little guys from RollerCoaster Tycoon that you sell funnel cakes to and who ride your one-way stratocoaster. You’ll run a digital coffeehouse. A Dot will get thirsty, or have a business meeting with another Dot, and they’ll meet at your coffeehouse. You get paid in $NATIVE from a Dot. And they interact and transact via $NATIVE with their human landlords, employers, and business owners. And I'd love for others to implement Native-compatible Dots as well. Shout out to @lincoln and the Base team for making this easy.

but why would they do things humans do? What if we invented AI agent-native 'activities' for them, or better, asked them what they'd do with their time?

1. They’d do that because that would be their directive. Contrary to the name, AIs are not (yet) artificially intelligent. 2. I think agent-native activities could be really cool. What are some examples? Also important to remember that Dots, being AI agents, aren’t bound by time and space: they easily multitask.
