I asked this too. And was told it’s different bc it’s a world leader. The prominence of the individual, the fact it is someone who is supposed to protect people, and the size of the rug/fact it removes liquidity from ecosystem

Agree on that front that’s it’s everywhere to a degree. Source: have seen so many legit projects over the years fail to get traction in part because they don’t pay the “entry fee”. One of the issues imo is the abundance of opportunity create so many ways for dishonest actors to engage. I just assume when something really takes off theirs power and money one way shape or form.
