I went to see Gladiator II recently. The previews didn't feature a single original movie. Zero. Not one. What's gone wrong with Hollywood that we've become so adverse to risk taking?

DVDs don’t exist; meaning that the movie has a single shot to make all its money back aka hence producers will go for the safe bet
