I’m going to the gym 3 times a week, I dance and cycle once a week (and in daily life). But running literally still kills me 😭 any ideas why? Is it because it’s a completely different style of cardio compared to cycling?

Pretty much everything the other comment says. I've been on the same boat as you from the past 30 years, I play football, love to cycle around but absolutely hated running, only until recently because it was the only way to have a fitness regime during winters. Now I don't hate it at least :)

Yes, same, I only started doing it because I wanted to workout outside and in winter running is pretty much a solid option. How long did it take you to not hate it? I’m still in the hate zone 😭😁

I started to run after I read the book of Haruki Murakami on What I think when I run. I started as fun thing and did for 3 months but stopped it after. Now need to go back again to it. I learned I have a body type which is great for sprints but not long runs too.

Took me about 1 month of regular running (2-3 times a week) regardless the weather, now the hardest part is putting the shoes on πŸ˜…
