Studies have correlated intake of cashew improved magnesium and an increased likelihood of pregnancy. One serving, about 18 cashews, contains five grams of protein as well as vitamin C and folate, the latter of which is tremendously important for preventing neural tube birth defects during pregnancy. That makes these nutritional gems great if you donβt love veggies.
