Lately, I’ve been feeling quite withdrawn. I make a conscious effort to bring my more cheerful self to social media, keeping the quiet and reserved parts of me behind the scenes. This morning, as I looked at this portrait, I felt a deep sense of how the world is both breathtakingly beautiful and unbearably ugly. It’s always been this way—this contrast—and yet we still struggle to navigate it, uncertain of how to show up in the face of it all. 1/2 (cont…)

2/2 A week ago, one of my uncles lost his mother. I spoke with him for over an hour, searching for the right words but failing to find them. In the end, all I could say was that I wished I could say something to ease his pain, but I couldn’t. His response was simple yet profound: “I feel better just talking to you—just having my mind taken off the grief for an hour.” I suppose that’s why I continue to share my portraits, even when I can’t find the right words. Perhaps, in some small way, they can offer a brief escape—a momentary pause from the weight of real world. 🤍

I could say that your work doesn't need words and that would be true - that's the first layer. The second layer is the real stories of real people and they need words

We are all alike these days... But what is there is that just as death is real, life is real. We must see it and live it.... I love this photo. How beautiful this mother's feeling is🥹♥️

I think, by nature, this is what art is all about, it takes us away from the hardships of everyday life, even if just for a moment. Realizing that we have to look for light within all this darkness is what creates hope. And when this understanding comes from an artist, it reflects in their work, like your beautiful pieces, dear Angelika 💗💗 128 $HUNT 100 $DEGEN

Your words are truly deep and thought-provoking. The fact that, amidst this contrast in the world, you bring a moment of peace to others through your portraits is beautiful. Sometimes, just being there and connecting can be the greatest gift. 🤍 Keep going!✨😍

That’s a beautiful reflection. Sometimes, the most meaningful support isn’t found in the perfect words but in simply being there—listening, sharing space, and offering a moment of respite. Your portraits likely do the same, giving people a chance to step outside their emotions for a moment and find comfort in something beautiful. And your art speaks, bringing light and peace when words can't.
