Little personal milestone: I started deadlifting consistently about 1 month ago and today I got to lifting my own body weight! Been really fun getting to feel regular progression of improving my strength

What helped you start lifting? Any beginner friendly exercises? Or just get a personal trainer and hit a gym is the best way to go about it

I started doing them in my physical therapy sessions. I found at least the first couple times was helpful to have someone teach me to make sure my form was correct since otherwise can really hurt/strain myself so personal trainer or a friend who knows the form well would be good to start
