Jungle refuses to eat her kibble, so now I’m her personal chef😅, today’s menu: carrots, zucchini, rice, and chicken, served straight from my hand 🫴

Don't show this to Duke, my dog. He has fractured a toe, needs to get a bandaga "Robert Jones" tomorrow. If he sees this, I will need to do the same.

He's also sending good vibes to Jungle, for a speedy recovery.

I think she’s still having some trouble swallowing, maybe due to the intubation. We’ll see, but for today I’m feeling reassured. Tomorrow’s another day

gm Jungle is back home! 🐶

She has a scar on her belly, and the pieces of slate were removed during the emergency surgery. She’s tired, has lost some weight, and still needs follow-up care at the vet, but she’s relieved to be home and so are we, along with our children.
