I’m sure half of the 10k aren’t even active anymore here. It would make more sense to give X badges to those who are active here, who are trying to bring new people to Farcaster, and who share interesting content.

fair enough, but i still think sub 10k fids who are still active now are the ones who really wanna see farcaster grow, i believe they are the ones who are proliferating the number of users right now

I’m not an OG or a FID under 10k, but in just over a year, I’ve seen some truly amazing things happen here. That said, I have to admit that over the past 6 months, I’ve seen fewer and fewer friends staying active, and more and more spam or content with no real value

in my home feed , but Feels like users are being told they have to stay active to get airdrops, so they stay active and use frames nonstop. 

And now we’re flooded with frames everywhere, most of which have no real value or purpose.

or you can mute keywords to avoid those frames from appearing

Yes, I totally agree with you , there are some truly incredible interactions happening here. 

I don’t know if you’ve followed the story about my dog Jungle , but thanks to crowdfunding and Farcaster, we were able to cover three-quarters of the cost of his emergency surgery. 

That’s something I never could have experienced anywhere else. This place is honestly just… amazing

tbh i wasn't in farcaster for airdrops, i've been having wonderful interactions since day 0 and been staying because of said interactions, i also mute anyone who shared too many airdrop/farming related stuff to have a better feed
