EV share of new car sales in Uruguay growing quickly now higher than US, with 70% from Chinese manufacturers like BYD. Same true in Brazil, which surpassed Belgium in May to be #1 destination for Chinese EVs US not even in the market https://tinyurl.com/yfuet7nw

I was in Chile last Oct and was surprised to see how many Chinese cars there were. They are absolutely dominating many foreign markets, especially in EVs. The US, Germany, and S. Korea are going to have an increasingly difficult time catching up.

I think EU imposed importa EV tax, US has 100% for Chinese for obv reason, no wonder you would opt for other. Hyundai is building manufacturing strategically around continents, like Africa and in LatAm too. China has strategy fast lined it by vessels and hijack ports as storage for free as their inland shipping is quite bad, but hey, I'm all in for any form of EVs
