I wonder if mathematicians that focus on calculus and other continuous maths are more embodied than those in discrete math If your mental models are more discrete, it’s reasonable to expect a greater separation in being as well Or maybe the overarching factor is simply being mind-oriented altogether (ie. studying math)

Is this a true dichotomy? I feel like if someone is a "discrete mathematician" they also are probably greater at continuous math than 99.9% of the population, and can use both models as needed.
