Oops, meant microplastics not plasticizers/phalates. The high heat and stress from tumbling rapidly degrades the synthetic fibers and make a cocktail of chemicals that can be absorbed through lipid solubility into skin.

Even if folks say "it isn't enough" they're minimizing that it actually happens.
