I don’t find it particularly detrimental that a company I do business with knows who I am. I find it detrimental that in cost cutting efforts they employed people possibly more desperate and low ethics than Americans 

That said, it stands to reason the entire world will become this — desperate and 0 morals —  which point a re-evaluation of KYC will be necessary just because the tatters left of the social contract will be pulverized but we still have to do business
