Feels like Uniswap launched a chain 2 years too late -- nobody cares now Funny because Compound tried launching a chain 2 years too early (remember Gateway?)

Listening to @haydenzadams on Bankless - I realized it’s more the pursuit of heavy verticalization. They probably have a unique edge to knowing what users (of many archetypes) want and can solve for specific requests (latency, throughput). Also think the only thing that matters in all this is liquidity. Which is all theirs.

Yeah I get that, it’s the obvious (and arguably midwit) take that successful apps should verticalize But by giving up neutrality, they encourage every chain (like Solana with Jupiter) to go with home grown since Uni is now coming for the plumbing too Also: https://warpcast.com/androidsixteen.eth/0x701d8896

I think being super chain is a net positive. Remains to be seen but ya I don’t wanna bridge

Superchain feels dead tho, no activity besides base and maybe world But world feels like a different universe. There’s no economy across the individual chains in the super chain

Unclear to me how Superchain creates a moat when Ethereum is pushing for based rollups + preconfs which bring the same functionality but all rollups https://x.com/drakefjustin/status/1882861787491778998

Ye l2 activity has been very 80/20 Superchain interop doesn't rly matter of 90% of the existing superchains are dead/uninteresting
