As your audience scales on X, your words will be misinterpreted and you will be attacked, no matter how sincere you are

Many powerful figures capitulate to this and sacrifice their values to do battle in the global arena, thereby losing themselves

I hope that the next era of social will retain decency thru locality in some way

I wonder if small networks are really the answer.  Are any of the big dogs truly “global” ?  They have an audience around the world but are only the “town square” in a handful of countries from my observation.

I think we're already past peak global, ie. the biggest you get now is the various blocs (Western, Chinese, etc.)

But relationships get distorted beyond a certain size, and I'm wondering if there's a way to have "global" access while still retaining localism
