Leaders must internalize and follow their own belief system before they can instruct others in it The change takes root within and then spreads externally if it is genuine and sufficiently compelling To just be genuine is not enough. But it’s also not enough to just be compelling, as movements without authenticity fizzle out

Presence, and at its best, being able to "stop time" and create a distortion field that helps others find grounding Particularly useful for crises of confidence -- that's when a leader is most needed

I love this answer, two things stand out to me: one is that presence is a quality that can be practiced and the other is that there is a focus on how leaders serve those around them theres a hint towards good leaders modelling behaviour for their teams too being present exudes groundedness
