I actually think this is a big downside of farcaster storage, and is at the network level, so individuals cannot solve the problem. Farcaster does not have the "public reaction archive" capability of rival networks. Even if an individual pays for storage to keep their post archive, if most others do not, reactions slowly erode and therefore historical "bangers" do not retain their value.

Why can’t you just snapshot & archive the banger? If you do time series snapshots, you can get pretty close to the “peak”

Historically on Twitter, retweeting an old post can be important to the current message. A screenshot isn’t quite the same, plus you have to find it
