Weird seeing a Bluesky post with thousands of likes (I don't use it at all) Is this common? Does Bluesky have that much of an adoption lead over Farcaster?

Why is that? What does Bluesky offer that Farcaster doesn't?

there are some famous people who left X for bluesky, but after I went through an old list of top followed accounts, a lot of them seem to have gave up and went back to x. two authors I enjoy, neil gaiman and john scalzi, seem to have stuck around on bluesky. here are some aggregate stats i found for bluesky which says it excludes large bot accounts (but I did not vet), maintained by someone who works there: https://bsky.jazco.dev/stats i imagine if i hated crypto, bluesky would be a nice place to be compared to x and farcaster. if you search crypto on there, it's just all negative crypto sentiment.

anecdotally, I'd guess that people associate Bluesky with the "flight from X" ie leaving twitter post-Elon, which was heavily publicized (even if most people did not leave). most of my non-crypto friends have heard of bluesky, none of them had heard of Farcaster before I onboarded don't know what Bluesky offers that FC doesn't, if anything
