base layer handles data availability, security, settlement via validators, and domains are like l2s but have faster settlement via zk proofs, so no need for bridges and no more rollup delays?

The key is having stronger coordination across sequencers (“collators” as polkadot calls it) — otherwise you can’t share state 

Everything eventually becomes polkadot, they just fucked up on gotomarket cause Gav’s ego got in the way
