It would be similar. Something along the lines of karma or the golden rule -- anything that helps dissolve the illusion of duality

But perhaps I'd anchor more on the side of sovereignty / liberty. Only if people are allowed to be free can they self-actualize and recognize their interbeing with others

I don’t know the answer though. I think doing bad things does get stored in collective memory (either in the perpetrators, the victims, or externalities on the Earth)

To consider the other side of the same coin, do you think karma necessarily works (due to some metaphysical law of nature or something) even if not observable at times or not necessarily (tho it tends to) because it's not some universal law but simply a result of normal/natural/unsurprising cause and effect anyone can reason about?

I don't think that's what he's saying

He says a karmic system provides systemic incentives to good behavior -- not necessarily financial, but you are incentivized to do good because you know that the good will come back around to you

His point is -- very few people act with zero incentives, and that makes a non-incentivized system fragile

His take on communism = no incentives is pretty poor and simplistic imo. The perception that financial compensation is the ultimate human incentive is such a bad take..
