It's weird to read about Notion's origins being rooted in minimalism and user-oriented design And then go use the product where they've spray and prayed AI CTAs everywhere I guess if you are a big enough tech company, you *have* to lean into AI or else your investors will get upset (note: this is a cargo cult)

i don't think it's just a 'have to do it for investors' thing like document/processor/productivity software it's so obviously ripe for disruption with AI with today's tech with no major leaps needed if you have one of those products and you're not integrating LLMs you'll get passed by a new comer need to do it well to succeed but don't need investor pressure to go down that route just need common sense

Using Notion like cursor has been awesome but they don’t prompt you to do that.

I use this feature quite often for search (corporate knowledge base) and checking grammar Been quite helpful in my workflows, so I would consider it as a positive change
