Hear you — but this is part of the distribution value prop. Creators need to be able to reach their audiences via email and DC is not a suitable replacement 

Ofc we won’t share or export any emails without user permission, but it’s still the gold standard protocol for communication

Understood -- I think it's a tradeoff between users like you dropping off from the requirement vs. people never adding an email later

Personally, I find it really annoying when apps keep bugging you to add an email. I'd rather just ask for it upfront and risk that you don't like it

That said, why the strong resistance to using email?

I think in that case I would probably have the auto sign in thru FC and then give users the option to link an email later when they subscribe to a creator. It's your product obv but it was just odd to me to have to sign in via email to the point where I didn't. 🤷🏻‍♂️
