i’ve been sticking with 3.5 because 3.7, to your point, does not know when to stop

3.7 is nice for thinking through design or complex implementation and creating instructions for 3.5

I think you can both be right about Cursor, the choice of model matters a lot. Specifically a lot of people are seeing perf. regressions around moving from Claude 3.5 to 3.7 because 3.7 is super eager to change a bit of shit without your direct input BUT if you get aggressive with your rule files it gets quite a bit better

FYI — if you’re experiencing regressions with Claude around it “digging” too much, it could be due to Sonnet 3.7

Try reverting to 3.5 or adding rules to prevent this — @royalaid.eth any advice on how to do the latter?
