I know many Libertarians are excited that Trump pardoned Ross Ulbricht. Genuine question for the crypto – aligned: how do others along the political spectrum feel about it?

He was guilty but for the charges he got, life sentence was clearly a government abuse. The idea of anonymous markets being legalized for me doesn't sound like the end of the world, governments should grant citizens a good level of privacy. I don't know how many on the left agree with this pardon, I do as I don't agree with setting examples by abusing the judicial system with inappropriate sentences. Unfortunately in US and almost everywhere rule of law is not followed to the letter and abuses are made to set examples.
