What's the best way to do a mobile app UI/UX product walkthrough video? Simulator + QuickTime or Loom? Plug in the phone and record somehow? Record on phone and narrate after in post?

Mobile apps that use a side menu can always add there a navigation entry that leads to a tutorial screen, where you could use a combination of text + video to make a great tutorial. This is great for complex Apps. If the App is too simple and you add that, users might asume you think they are dumb, it is a catch 24.
