I think these charts fail to show the impact of globalization on marriage 

Having more access to finding one’s partner probably makes people less likely to “settle down” as early

There’s also been a big shift in work dynamics within relationships and exponential costs for raising children 

I think if there were more assistance to families, people wouldn’t be so hesitant to have children 

I’m actually surprised there aren’t more subsidies to encourage having children as we already see other countries looking to reverse population decline trends
