I'm away from home and am using a instapot to cook rice. It's turning Jasmine rice into sushi rice in texture. It's so sticky and really retaining shape. It's also a lot shinier.
Has anyone else noticed this when cooking rice in pressure cooker vs rice cooker? Do you have a preference for the one you prefer?

Interesting! I’ve cooked rice with my pressure cooker and it turned out normal. It was specifically a rice cooking setting on the Chef iQ though. I used a rice cooker all my life until about 4 years ago, now I just use a pot on the stove. All (jasmine rice) came out the same for me 🤷🏻‍♀️
