How many times should you follow up after an interview to take the L and just accept that you’re being completely ghosted?

Waiting to hear back on a prerecorded video interview, a first interview, and a second interview with no responses/updates after a follow-up email to each.

Also, WTF is up with this trend??

I usually follow up just once and move on. Always avoided recorded video interviews. It’s creepy and one-sided. An interview goes both ways and a company that can’t even do that is not one I want to work for.

Yeah data science/analytics is also super congested right now. A lot of people are trying to pivot into DS and a lot of tech layoffs have engineers applying for roles so it’s even tougher for entry level applicants. Do you have work experience in the field yet?

Yeah, under normal circumstances I might decline a prerecorded interview, but I'm past the point of being picky. I have neither connections nor a FAANG work history, so I've been having an extremely difficult time finding employment.
