We took the special seasons train to Kobe and walked around looking for a spot to each lunch. A lot of these nicer places needed reservations, but the kindest hostess called a sister restaurant to ask if they had open seats and WALKED us over there! Food and service was excellent as always!

Oh actually I got my days mixed up lol it was the train to Kyoto not Kobe! https://www.hankyu.co.jp/kyotrain-garaku/en/service/#timetable
