Iโve always been intimidated by baking homemade bread, but this year Iโd like to move out of my cooking comfort zone ๐ If you have a (very easy) beginner bread recipe recommendation, please share! :) Pictured on the left, an olive loaf from my favorite San Francisco bakery, Noe Valley Bakery. On the right, tsoureki (a traditional Greek Easter bread) made by my mom ๐

Oooh Iโm excited to follow your journey! I want to make bread too but just havenโt made the leap yet! Not sure if I want to deal with sourdough (although I do like making ferments) but was thinking ciabatta would be an easy start (not much kneading). I tried milk bread a couple times but they were so dense because it was too cold here for the yeast to activate and rise but next time Iโm going to try putting my bowl on a seedling starting mat for warmth lol 454 $DEGEN

Thank you!! I think I will start with a ciabatta recipe, as I love that type of bread :) I'd love to know if the seedling starting mat method works!
