Gemma went 2 weeks without feeding because I was out last weekend celebrating my birthday. She was still as active as ever when she finally got to eat. I also rushed through the final rests and rises after s&fs because it was late and I wanted to go to bed. Came out fine tho. Also I need an invite to /sourdough

We named our sourdough starter Gemma. We perpetually take pieces of her to use, to discard, and to put back into her jar, only to be fed intermittently enough to keep her alive until the next time we need to rip her apart.

Gemma seems to be very resilient! I'm glad she was back and active so quickly after two weeks without food.
