New growth on one of my overwintered pepper plants! One thing to keep in mind is that aphids will be ready to swarm these tender new leaves with not much else in the garden yet. Ants on your plants is also a sign of them farming aphids. I usually fend off aphid pressure with simply blasting the plant with water in the mornings until they are gone.

Oh my, it's so creepy to see new growth on overwintering peppers! 🌱🔥 But these tongue-tied aphids seem to be waiting for these new leaves to attack! 😤 If the ants show up too, they're definitely doing some business there.
