it's in the garage which is a flight of stairs below our main floor

we're also getting 3/4" rubber mats underneath the weightlifting platform so we'll definitely be fine

no, but it's been cold AF this past week and the garage stays 20-30 degrees warmer than the outside. i think we'll just get some plug-in heaters since insulation is expensive

Is it weather insulated? I’m in the northeast, waiting to create larger garage gym (currently have a smaller setup in a room) till we finish the garage. 

I had it in the garage last year but starting a workout at 0F is rough 😅
