Has it ever happened to you that while going so fast, you have fallen forward and landed with your face on the ground?
Looking at the photo you can already imagine what it is about, I will give you some information.
📍 Turkey, day 1 in Cappadocia of the 15-day trip.
We have several activities planned, but if there is something that never fails, it is treking, treking and treking until you want to tear your feet off.
Cappadocia is a large area of mountains and very arid sandy lands, which with erosion have created small valleys, mounds and very peculiar geological formations.
After hours of trekking up and down, with the sun beating down on us, already so tired that my legs were begging for mercy... we are going along the top of a small plateau, we have to go down to go towards the population area where the hotels are.
We see a shortcut that involves going down a somewhat steep slope, due to the sandy terrain, somewhat slippery, ther is a rope to help you go up or down.

My girl goes down first and like a deer she does it lightly and without problems.
My turn comes, and given the opportunity, I ask her for a photo halfway down.
You can't see the slope in the photo, but there was a lot of it.
When I get to the end of the rope, I see that it's broken, and if I let go I notice that I either slip and kiss the ground or I speed up.
On the third one I let go, I don't slip, but I can't stop, I go faster and faster, so much so that when I pass my girl, her voice is already frightening.
I see a huge bush, I try to go to the right to avoid it, I look like Usain Bolt, but I step on a small stone that makes my foot roll, I trip myself and I crash sideways into the ground, crashing into the bush of dry branches.
The blow is so hard that I stay stiff for a while, I don't even move, my wife comes at full speed scared, calling me.
