a general or for you channel. i feel restricted by channels sometimes because my cast doesnt really fit anywhere, and if i post in home no one will see it.

This is not true. If you cast outside of a channel, it just goes to your followers.

Casting in a channel gives it the potential to be seen by more people.

What is true is that if you publish on very large channels, for which we don't have PB, seem to be invisible, you don't receive even a like on several casts.
But you see other casts, that say something without substance, and have likes and replies, and you don't understand.
If you publish on small channels, they tend to pay more attention to you.
